NBFIRA Collaborates With University Of Botswana, Institute for Combating Illicit Financial Flows (ICIFF) and Financial Intelligence Agency(FIA) to Empower Future Leaders Through AML/CFT and Financial Crime Awareness

As part of the ongoing consumer education initiatives, NBFIRA delivered an engaging presentation at the University of Botswana community under the theme “Level Up Your FinCrime IQ-Building AML/CFT Awareness for Botswana’s Future Leaders.” 

The event was held in collaboration with the University of Botswana, ICIFF and the Financial Intelligence Agency (FIA) Botswana. NBFIRA deliberated on NBFIRA’s mandate, financial crime risks, AML/CFT framework and data protection among others.

Through initiatives like this, The Authority continues to empower young people with the knowledge needed to make informed financial decisions and contribute to the fight against financial crime.
