Graduate Internship – Internal Audit (24 Months Fixed-Term Contract)

Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority (NBFIRA) invites suitably qualified individuals to apply for Graduate internship tenable in Gaborone:

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in executing internal audit assignments
  • Participate in risk assessments and internal control evaluations
  • Perform audit testing and document audit evidence
  • Prepare working papers, reports, and audit findings
  • Follow up on audit recommendations and action plans
  • Support compliance, governance, and risk management activities
  • Adhere to internal audit standards and professional ethics

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Business, Economics, Risk Management or a related field
  • One (1 Year) Experience will be an added advantage

Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)
  • Willingness to learn and pursue a career in internal audit
