NBFIRA Engages Jwaneng Council on the Authority’s mandate and Consumer Rights & Responsibilities

As part of its stakeholder engagement efforts the Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority (NBFIRA) today addressed the Jwaneng Town Full Council. The Acting Head of Communications and Consumer Affairs, Augustine Sepoe, briefed the Councillors on the Authority’s mandate, which includes regulating and supervising Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs). He also covered the rights and responsibilities of consumers of NBFI products.
