Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority (NBFIRA) invites suitably qualified individuals to apply for the following vacancy tenable in Gaborone:
- Analyst – Licensing x2 (12-months Fixed Term Contract)
Main Purpose of the job
Responsible for all administrative work related to the processing of licensing and provide technical assistance and support to functional management.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receiving and performing of quality checks on licensing applications for the Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs).
- Capture and update information on licensing applications from NBFIs on the system for completeness.
- Attend to inquiries on the status of the licensing applications.
- Maintain licensing records and related documentation.
- Generate reports and conduct licensing data analysis for management.
Qualifications and Experience
At least a degree in Economics, Finance, Law, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields from a recognised institution. A master’s degree would be an added advantage
At least 1-2 years’ experience post-qualification.
Specialised knowledge and technical skills
Knowledge of NBFIs sector in Botswana.
Basic understanding of licensing practices, principles and tools.
