CIRCULAR: Invitation To The NBFIRA AML/CFT/PT Awareness Workshop

SUBJECT: Invitation To The NBFIRA AML/CFT/Pf Awareness Workshop

1. Reference is made to the above.

2. The Non-Bank Financial Institution Regulatory Authority (“NBFIRA”) shall be conducting an awareness workshop for regulated entities located outside Gaborone. The workshop shall be centered on the obligations of regulated entities as specified parties under the Financial Intelligence Act, 2022.

3. The workshops are scheduled as per the below;

4. The training workshops are scheduled from 1000Hrs to 1400Hrs. Regulated entities are requested to nominate two representatives from their entities, one of whom must be the Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer (“AMLCO”) to attend the physical meeting.

5. Kindly note that the venues for the workshops will be shared in due course.
