Public Notice – Westlife Insurance Botswana (Pty) Ltd

The Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority (“NBFIRA”) informs members of the public that it has, acting in terms of Section 64 (2) of the Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Act, 2023 (“the NBFIRA Act”), terminated the appointment of the Statutory Manager for WESTLIFE INSURANCE BOTSWANA (PTY) LTD (“WESTLIFE”) thereby lifting the Statutory Management placed on WESTLIFE with immediate effect.

Please note that the effect of the termination and the lifting is that the Statutory Manager is no longer in full management, control and authority of Westlife forthwith. Furthermore, all business dealings and transactions with Westlife Insurance Botswana (Pty) Ltd, after the date of publication of this notice, will be directed to the management of Westlife.
